Scouts from Boy Scouts of America Troop 7770 at a cross-over ceremony at The Hills at Avalon in Avalon, Texas. The Hills at Avalon is a non-profit corporation founded by George and Sadie Tellez in 2004. The Hills at Avalon provides retreats for local churches, youth groups and pastors, as well as for missionaries and foreign ministers in need of rest and relaxation. The 66 acres owned by the corporation is used by Boy Scouts of America for outings and camp outs, as well as by church and youth groups for summer camp and outdoor activities.
